Mr. Urhan Anwar

Urhan is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Karachi, with majors in Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics.
Before joining EXIM Bank, Urhan served for nearly a decade in the Company Secretariat function at Standard Chartered Bank (Pakistan) Limited. During his tenure, he played a key role in driving business process improvements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and strengthening corporate secretarial practices.
Among his notable accomplishments are his contributions to the execution of complex divestment transactions involving two listed subsidiaries, receiving the Going Extra Mile Award for implementing Group-wide business processes for the Group Company Secretariat and revamping Articles of Association.
In addition, Urhan also worked as a Financial Analyst for Standard Chartered Philippines for approximately six months.
Urhan has completed various training programmes in Corporate Governance, Common Law, and Islamic Banking & Finance.
